At Flour & Herbs, we take food allergies and sensitivities seriously and want you to have clear information before you purchase.

Ingredients and major allergens

Each product page lists a full ingredient list for that specific seasoning blend. Any of the major food allergens used as ingredients in a blend (such as wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, or sesame) are identified in plain language in the ingredient list and/or in a “Contains” statement (for example: “Contains: Wheat, Milk, Sesame, Tree nuts (almonds)”).

For the most accurate allergen information, always refer to the ingredient and “Contains” statements printed on the product label you receive, as recipes may change over time.

Shared-kitchen advisory

Our seasonings are produced in a permitted California cottage food home kitchen. We handle the following allergenic ingredients in our kitchen: wheat (flour), sesame, eggs, milk, peanuts, and tree nuts. While we follow careful cleaning and handling practices between batches, our products are made in a shared environment and cross-contact may occur. As a result, all products may contain trace amounts of these allergens.

If you have a severe food allergy or high sensitivity to any of these ingredients, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before consuming our products.

How to read our product pages

On each product page, you’ll typically see:

  • An ingredient list for that specific blend.

  • A “Contains” line when the blend intentionally includes any of the major food allergens (for example: “Contains: Wheat, Milk.”).

  • The shared-kitchen advisory noted above, so you can understand the potential for cross-contact.

Because we are a small-batch operation, ingredient suppliers or formulations may occasionally change. Please check both the online listing and the physical label each time you purchase.
